A high pressure attenuator (10) or accumulator includes a body defining a pressure chamber (16) therein. An engaging wall (20) of the body extends axially beyond an opening (18) to the pressure chamber and defines a sealing chamber (22) therein. A seal head (26) positioned within the sealing chamber is coupled to the attenuator body using a tensioner assembly (42, 44) coupled to the engaging wall (20).
