PURPOSE: Methods for preparing an organic electrolyte solution and a positive electrode for a lithium secondary battery and a lithium secondary battery having the organic electrolyte solution and the positive electrode prepared by the method are provided, to improve the charge/discharge characteristic and the swelling property by reducing the generation of a gas and HF due to the reaction of a lithium ion and an organic electrolyte solution and a negative electrode. CONSTITUTION: The organic electrolyte solution is prepared by dissolving a lithium salt in an organic solvent; and adsorbing the obtained solution by using a hydrotalcite-based compound. The positive electrode is prepared by adding a hydrotalcite-based compound to a lithium transition metal composite oxide capable of absorbing and desorbing lithium to prepare a positive electrode active material; and mixing the positive electrode active material with a conductive material and coating it. Preferably the hydrotalcite-based compound is represented by£MI(1-x)MIIx(OH-)2|x+£An-x/nyH2O|x-, wherein MI is a divalent metal selected from the group consisting of Mg, Mn, Co, Ni, Cu and Zn; MII is a trivalent metal selected from the group consisting of Al, Fe, Cr, Co and In; A is OH, F, Cl, SO4, CO3 or CH3COO; n is an integer of 1-4; x is 0-1; and y is a number of 0 or more.
