PURPOSE: Provided is a cultivation medium composition of variable king oyster mushrooms containing hardwood-charcoal and a cultivation method of variable king oyster mushrooms, thereby providing variable king oyster mushrooms having the characteristic taste and flavor of Lentinula Edodes and king oyster mushrooms. CONSTITUTION: A cultivation medium composition of variable king oyster mushrooms is characterized by containing 25-35 wt.% of corncob, 18-23 wt.% of sawdust, 25-35 wt.% of a mixture of rice hull and embryo, 0.2-0.5 wt.% of calcium carbonate, 0.2-0.5 wt.% of shell powder, 3-5 wt.% of dried soybean dregs, and 5-15 wt.% of hardwood-charcoal.
