HOME AUTOMATION SYSTEM HAVING OSD FUNCTION WITH KOREAN LANGUAGE AND KEY PROCESSING METHOD MAKING THE SAME KEYS TO HAVE MULTIPLE FUNCTIONS

PURPOSE: A home automation terminal displaying a Hangul menu on an LCD screen for using function buttons in common, and a method for controlling the same are provided to easily add, delete, and change functions of a home automation terminal. CONSTITUTION: If a user presses a random button in a state that a screen of an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel part is turned off, a central control unit sets up a function of a menu selection button as a main menu function, and matches main menu character fonts with the screen of the LCD panel part(S100). The central control unit receives a selection signal from a key input unit for judging whether the signal is for executing a peculiar function of the current main menu or for executing a submenu(S200). In the case of the signal for executing the submenu, the central control unit sets up the function of the menu selection button as a submenu function, and matches submenu character fonts with the screen of the LCD panel part(S300). If the user selects a random menu selection button, the central control unit judges whether the selection signal is for returning to the main menu(S400). If all operations are executed to the current menu, the central control unit terminates the current function(S500-S600).
