PURPOSE: A method for early discharging low reductive material produced during repairing of blast furnace wall is provided to protect equipment from deterioration during spray repairing, easily check the inner state of blast furnace and minimize heat radiation from charged material inside blast furnace during shut-down. CONSTITUTION: The method is characterized in that glass silica (SiO2)(16) having a grain size of 2 mm or less and a melting point of 600 to 700 deg.C or a mixture of the glass silica and slag having a basicity of 1.12 or less is used as a gas blocking agent(11), wherein the gas blocking agent is charged into blast furnace by charging glass silica (SiO2) into charging positions of chute of blast furnace top at the number of revolutions of 1 to 4, charging slag into charging positions of the chute of the blast furnace top at the number of revolutions of 1 to 4, charging a mixed layer(13) prepared by mixing slag with glass silica in a weight ratio of 3:7 to 2:8 into charging positions of the chute of the blast furnace top at the number of revolutions of 1 to 4 and charging glass silica (SiO2) into charging positions of the chute of the blast furnace top at the number of revolutions of 3 to 5.
