The present invention provides a metallurgical powder composition comprising a metal powder mixed with a solid particulate polyether. The incorporation of the polyether lubricant improves the green strength properties of the pressed parts made of the powder composition and generally reduces the discharge power needed to remove the pressed parts from the die cavity.
