BAR CODE PART FOR POSTAL INFORMATION, DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DESIGNATING POSTAL MATTER BAR CODES, AND DEVICE AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY SORTING POSTAL MATTERS

PURPOSE: A bar code part for postal information, a device and a method for designating postal matter bar codes, and a device and a method for automatically sorting postal matters are provided to effectively sort postal matters without changing the existing postal code system. CONSTITUTION: A method for designating postal matter bar codes includes steps of inputting more than one ID code, selected from an ID group comprising an address, a telephone number, a resident registration number, a business registration number, a water gauge number, a gasometer number, and a computer IP address, to an ID code input part(S201); producing a bar code part including a postman code given to a postman's district corresponding to the ID code input through retrieval from a data base storage part, a usual route code given to a usual route area divided by the delivery course of postal matters, and one of a personal customer code, a corporation customer code or an enterprise customer code(S203); and printing the produced bar codes on postal matters(S205). A method for automatically sorting postal matters includes steps of designating the bar codes including postal information to postal matters; a step of sorting the postal matters by the postman code given to the postman's district(S207); and a step of sorting the postal matters, going through the sorting step by the postman code, by the usual route code given to the usual route area divided by the delivery course of the postal matters(S209).
