METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PURIFYING LIVESTOCK WASTEWATER USING HIGH TEMPERATURE AEROBIC OXIDATION REACTION AND EXPANDABLE GRANULAR SLUDGE LAYER

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for purifying livestock wastewater is provided to efficiently treat livestock wastewater generated from livestock farms on a limited area at low cost by using high temperature aerobic oxidation reaction and expandable granular sludge layer. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a miscellaneous material removing device, a flow balancing tank, a high temperature aerobic oxidation tank, a dehydrator, an expandable granular sludge reactor, a gas storage tank, and a sedimentation tank, wherein the expandable granular sludge reactor comprises an inflow water tank(51) installed in an upper center of the reactor so that separated filtered liquid dehydrated in the dehydrator, inner circulation water and return treated water passing through intermittent aeration/sedimentation are uniformly flown in the inflow water tank; influent distribution tanks(52) installed at both sides of an upper part of the expandable granular sludge reactor; influent distribution pipes(56) installed on a lower part of the expandable granular sludge reactor; and a separator(55), a bio-gas transfer pipe(57), an expandable granular sludge treated water tank(53) and an inner circulation pump(54) installed to collect the bio-gas generated from the reactor.
