13- Novel 13C-Urea-Containing Capsule Preparation for Diagnosis of H. pylori

PURPOSE: Provided is a 13C-urea capsule preparation for diagnosing helicobacter pylori which uses polyethylene glycol as an elution adjuvant to increase the initial elution rate of the 13C-urea, and exhibits excellent diagnostic sensitivity even without previously taking the test meal. CONSTITUTION: A 13C-urea capsule preparation for diagnosing helicobacter pylori comprises 30-60mg of 13C-urea, 1.5-50mg of polyethylene glycol, and 70mg or less of citric acid. The polyethylene glycol is selected from the group consisting of polyethylene glycol 300, 3350, 4000, 6000, and mixtures thereof.
