Purpose: new SLM (SeLective mappings) method and apparatus structure, for efficiently reducing the peak-to-average power ratio for using an OFDM communications signal of a specific pseudo-order, it is arranged to prevent non-linear distortion from reducing the peak-to-average power ratio generated by a subcarrier frequency in a high power amplifier. Construction: a serial-parallel converter converts the data sequentially inputted from serial parallel. Parallel data is replicated to become multiple parallel data more. One pseudo-order is inserted into each multiple parallel data, in order to reduce by a peak-to-average power ratio. One orthogonal frequency division multiplexing is performed in multiple parallel data. One of multiplexed signals is selected and transmits.
