Adhesive coating composition for gold leaf on cloth and the method for forming the gold leaf on the cloth

PURPOSE: Provided is an adhesive coating composition for patterning a gold foil on a cloth, which presents a pure gold color and beautiful gloss with no spreading, maintains the initial gold color and gloss after a long time and has excellent adhesion. CONSTITUTION: The adhesive coating composition comprises 50-60 wt% of a lacquer, 35-47 wt% of a cashew and 3-5 wt% of a pearl-luster pigment. The adhesive coating composition is used in the method for forming a gold foil pattern on a cloth, wherein the method comprises the steps of: coating the adhesive coating composition(12) on an original pattern plate(10); compressing the pattern plate(10) on a desired position of the cloth to form the pattern; and covering a gold foil to the patterned product, tapping, and removing the undesired part of the gold foil.
