PURPOSE: Provided are a cancer cell-growth inhibitor comprising lamin A gene or lamin A protein, and a preparation method and use thereof. The lamin A gene has effective inhibition effect on the growth of a cancer cell, and is used for the study of cancer cell growth mechanism, and development of cancer diagnosis reagents and therapeutic agents for cancer. CONSTITUTION: A cancer cell-growth inhibitor is characterized by comprising lamin A gene of SEQ ID NO:1 or lamin A protein of SEQ ID NO:2. It is prepared by expressing pLNCX2 vector containing lamin A gene of SEQ ID NO:1. The cancer cell is characteristically a lung cancer cell.
