GOLD ALLOY FOR PROCELAIN FUSED TO METAL CROWN

PURPOSE: A gold alloy for porcelain fused to metal crown is provided which is economically feasible without use of expensive palladium or platinum and has high aesthetics and satisfies requirement conditions such as melting point, thermal expansion coefficient, strength, formability, castability and workability by containing a large quantity of gold. CONSTITUTION: The gold alloy for porcelain fused to metal crown is characterized in that it is used in one unit of porcelain fused to metal crown and comprises 98.0 to 99.8 wt.% of gold, 0.1 to 1.0 wt.% of indium and 0.1 to 1.0 wt.% of zinc, wherein the gold alloy comprises 99.7 wt.% of gold, 0.2 wt.% of indium and 0.1 wt.% of zinc. The gold alloy for porcelain fused to metal crown is characterized in that it is used in two units to three units of porcelain fused to metal crown and comprises 94.0 to 97.8 wt.% of gold, 0.1 to 1.0 wt.% of indium, 0.1 to 1.0 wt.% of zinc and 2.0 to 4.0 wt.% of platinum, wherein the gold alloy is used in three units of porcelain fused to metal crown and comprises 97.7 wt.% of gold, 0.2 wt.% of indium, 0.1 wt.% of zinc and 2.0 wt.% of platinum, and wherein the gold alloy is used in three units of porcelain fused to metal crown and comprises 95.7 wt.% of gold, 0.2 wt.% of indium, 0.1 wt.% of zinc and 4.0 wt.% of platinum.
