CAP OF THE STARTING TUBE FOR PREVENTING ALIEN SUBSTANCE FROM FLOWING INTO THE STARING TUBEOF TUNDISH

PURPOSE: A cap assembly for preventing inflow of foreign materials into starting tube is provided to prevent foreign materials such as skull and refractories separated from tundish cover during preheating of tundish from flowing in starting tube so that the tundish cover is not frequently replaced, and operation accidents are prevented. CONSTITUTION: The cap assembly for preventing inflow of foreign materials into starting tube comprises a cap(5) which is fabricated in a bamboo hat shape, and in a central part of which a flame guide hole(5d) is formed; and a plurality of tube connecting and fixing stands(5b) which are attached to a lower side part of the cap(5) with being spaced apart from each other in a certain distance, and on a lower part of which a connection groove(5b-1) is formed, wherein diameter of the flame guiding hole(5d) is smaller than diameter of tundish cover hole of tundish cover, wherein a lower edge part of the cap(5) is formed in a rounding shape(5e) for smooth internal induction of preheated flame, and wherein bimetal type iron plates(5a) formed by uniting an iron plate having high thermal expansion coefficient(5a-1) with an iron plate having low thermal expansion coefficient(5a-2) are attached to an inner surface part of the flame guide hole(5d).
