Cover for preventing an alien substance inflow of steelmaking tundish

PURPOSE: A cover for preventing inflow of alien substance into steelmaking tundish is provided to prevent foreign materials being scattered after being received into the tundish from flowing into tube of the tundish during preheating operation of the tundish. CONSTITUTION: In a steelmaking tundish comprising a molten steel discharge hole formed on the bottom of the tundish, and a tube communicated with the molten steel discharge hole, the cover(100) for preventing inflow of alien substance into the steelmaking tundish comprises a circular plate(10) having a circular shape as a whole; and a plural leg parts(20) projected with being bent from the edge of the circular plate for the surface of the circular plate and positioned on an upper surface of the tube so that hot blast supplied from a lower side of the tube is transferred to the tundish through a space between the leg parts to preheat the steelmaking tundish, and the hot blast supplied from the lower side of the tube prevents foreign materials inside the steelmaking tundish from flowing into the tube.
