PURPOSE: A system and a method for giving a bonus point offered from a maker to a buyer of an online shopping mall are provided to convert and accumulate a predetermined price of the price paid by a customer into a point whenever the customer buys goods, and to compensate the customer by restoring the accumulation point to an article, a gift, cash, and a service. CONSTITUTION: A management program(101) enables a point server manager to search and process information related to system operation such as shopping mall registration, maker registration, and management and collection of commission. A customer program(102) provides the customer with response such as customer registration and accumulation point inquiry. A maker program(103) provides the maker with the response such as goods information, registration and alteration of the point information, customer point inquiry, and customer information inquiry. A shopping mall program(104) provides a shopping mall server with the goods and the point information of the goods, and accumulates the point to a customer point account by receiving the goods sale information from the shopping mall server or a settlement server.
