PURPOSE: An interworking relay device, an interworking system between NMSs(Network Management Systems) using the same, and a method therefor are provided to perform efficient interworking between the NMS and an EMS(Element Management System) by storing changed interworking information of the EMS in the interworking relay device, selecting only data necessary for interworking, and interworking between the NMS and the EMS. CONSTITUTION: An EMS(20) controls and manages network resources. An NMS(16) controls and manages the EMS(20). An interworking relay device(10) stores information necessary for the interworking of the EMS(20) and the NMS(16), retrieves only necessary information in the interworking among the stored data, and provides retrieved information. The NMS(16) has a retrieval module(18), an interworking module(19) and an operator module(17). The retrieval module(18) registers information of the NMS(16) in the interworking relay device(10), and retrieves a network resource data name, a data type, a communication protocol, an interworking procedure and address information, which are necessary for the interworking of the EMS(20), from the interworking relay device(10). The interworking module(19) collects information of the EMS(20) from the EMS(20), and compares collected information with information retrieved from the interworking relay device(10). If collected information is identical to information retrieved from the interworking relay device(10), the interworking module(19) interworks between the NMS(16) and the EMS(20). The operator module(17) manages the retrieval module(18) and the interworking module(19), and displays information on an operator screen.
