PURPOSE: A foldable bicycle is provided to easily assemble and fold, to secure a straight-traveling stability of the bicycle, and to improve riding comfort. CONSTITUTION: A head pipe is pivoted to a front end of a bar-shaped main frame(2) to move within a surface including the main frame about the main frame. A front wheel fork(6) and a handle shaft(5) are inserted through and supported to the head pipe. A rear wheel(17) is shaft-supported to a rear end of the main frame. A saddle post(16) having a saddle(15) at the top is pivoted in the rear part of a pivot unit of the head pipe. A front end of a stay(20) detachably fixed to the saddle post is pivoted to the front part of the rear wheel of the main frame. A crank gear(21) is rotatively shaft-supported between the pivot units of the saddle post and the stay. A hanging and winding transfer member is hung and wound between the crank gear and a small gear installed at the rear wheel. The stay, the saddle post, and the handle shaft are overlapped to each other along the main frame.
