REAL-TIME MONITORING AND MAPPING OF ABLATION LESION FORMATION IN HEART TO ABLATE TISSUE IN HEART

PURPOSE: Real-time monitoring and mapping of ablation lesion formation in a heart to ablate a tissue in a heat are provided to cut easily the tissue in the heart as a cutting target in an ablation process by using an invasive method for geometric and electrical mapping of the heart. CONSTITUTION: A local treatment process for a heart is performed at a plurality of regions designated for ablation. A parameter for indicating an ablation level at the corresponding region is sensed from each of the regions. A map of the heat is displayed. The respective ablation levels at the regions in response to the respective sensed parameters are indicated on the map of the heart during the ablation procedure. In addition, a process for measuring each position of the regions is performed. The process for indicating the respective ablation levels includes a process for indicating respective ablation levels at the measured positions.
