摘要

PURPOSE: A fluorocarbon polymer coating powder and a coating formed on a substrate are provided, to improve flexibility, impact resistance, hardness, adhesion, corrosion resistance and mechanical properties. CONSTITUTION: The fluorocarbon polymer coating powder comprises a thermosetting fluorocarbon polymer having a hydroxyl functional group; a diisocyanate in an effective amount sufficient for curing the fluorocarbon polymer; and about 5-40 wt% of a thermoplastic fluorocarbon polymer in an effective amount sufficient for imparting excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical properties to the coating formed in thermal post-curing of coating powder on a substrate. The coating comprises a thermosetting fluorocarbon polymer cured by diisocyanate; and a thermoplastic fluorocarbon polymer in an effective amount for imparting an excellent corrosion resistance to the coating.
