BATTERY HAVING STABLE AND FIRM COAT ON SURFACE OF ANODE ACTIVE MATERIAL TO INHIBIT DECOMPOSITION OF ELECTROLYTE SOLUTION ON ANODE FOR IMPROVING CYCLE CHARACTERISTICS OF BATTERY
PURPOSE: Provided is a battery having an anode comprising an anode current collector and an anode active material layer to improve cycle characteristics by forming a more stable and firm coat on the surface of an anode active material layer. CONSTITUTION: The battery comprises a cathode(12), an anode(14) and an electrolyte, wherein the anode(14) comprises an anode current collector(14A) and an anode active material layer(14B) which is formed on the anode current collector and is alloyed with the anode current collector in at least some part of the interface between the anode active material layer and the anode current collector, and the electrolyte contains an electrolyte solution comprising a cyclic carbonate ester having an unsaturated bond and an electrolyte salt. Also the battery comprises a cathode, an anode and an electrolyte, wherein the anode(14) comprises an anode current collector(14A) and an anode active material layer(14B) formed on the anode current collector by at least one method selected from the group consisting of gas phase method, liquid phase method and sintering method, and the electrolyte contains an electrolyte solution comprising a cyclic carbonate ester having an unsaturated bond and an electrolyte salt. Preferably the electrolyte solution contains at least one of vinyl ethylene carbonate and vinylene carbonate.
