PURPOSE: A method and system for disassembling audio/visual components are provided to disassemble A/V components, and to remotely dispose the disassembled A/V components in distributed areas or in specific positions, thereby supplying communication between source A/V components and destination A/V components. CONSTITUTION: Hosts of A/V components are mutually connected in a network(200). A DVD player(202), a tuner(204), a CD player(206), and a PC(208) considered as source devices are connected to an IP communication device(220) through many interfaces. Speakers(232,236) and a display(240) are connected to the communication device(220). A time master device(228) is connected to the communication device(220). The network(200) can include a WAN(Wide Area Network) and the Internet(226).
