PURPOSE: A magnetic clutch apparatus or a magnetic fan clutch apparatus is provided to reduce noise of the fan and load by switching and controlling the direction of magnetic flux of the permanent magnet or the electromagnetic clutch and changing rpm of the output shaft. CONSTITUTION: An electromagnetic clutch(3) is mounted to an input shaft(1), and a magnetic coupling(4) is mounted to an output shaft(11). The electromagnetic clutch and the magnetic coupling are surrounded by a case(18) rotated and supported by the input shaft and the output shaft through bearings. The electromagnetic clutch comprises a clutch rotor(3-1), and a magnetic coil(3-2) fixed to the clutch rotor in the case. The magnetic coupling has a permanent magnet rotating body(4-1), a permanent magnet(4-2), magnetic loop elements(5a,5b), an armature(6), a disk(4-3) with a fan(4-5), and a conductor(4-4). The permanent magnet is installed in the permanent magnet rotating body, and composed of plural circumferential poles. The magnetic loop elements are arranged alternately around the permanent magnet.
