FLUID FILTER WITH FILTER MEDIUM BYPASS VALVE ASSEMBLY, MAKING UNFILTERED FLUID BYPASS FILTER MEDIUM

PURPOSE: A fluid filter with filter medium bypass valve assembly is provided to make an unfiltered fluid bypass a filter medium by making the bypass valve assembly closed in a normal operation and making the bypass valve assembly opened in abnormal rise of the inner pressure of a fluid filter. CONSTITUTION: A fluid filter assembly comprises a filter housing including a filter chamber(18); a filer element including a filter medium(16) and an end cap(14) connected to one end of the filter medium; and a bypass valve assembly(12) connected to the end cap, to restrict a flow of a fluid in a filter to a spring-receiving chamber from an unfiltered fluid region(24) to make the fluid exhausted to a filtered fluid region(26) via a bypass outlet opening(78). The filter medium includes an outer portion situated in the filter to come in contact with the fluid flowing into the unfiltered fluid region in the filter chamber through an inlet, and an inner portion constituting the filtered fluid region situated in the filter medium, to receive the fluid in the filter element passing through the filter medium to the inner portion from the outer portion. The end cap includes a spring housing including the spring-receiving chamber, and the bypass outlet opening communicating with the spring-receiving chamber and opening to the filtered fluid region. The end cap is connected to the filter medium and the spring housing and the end cap supports the spring housing in the filtered fluid region situated in the filter medium. The bypass valve assembly includes a piston closing body stand(50), a clamp part, a piston closing body(52), and a spring(54).
