ONE-STEP ANALYSIS KIT AND METHOD FOR THE DISTINCTION OF KOREAN GINSENG FROM FOREIGN GINSENGS

PURPOSE: An one-step analysis kit and method for the distinction of Korean ginseng from foreign ginsengs are provided, thereby rapidly discriminating Korean ginseng from foreign ginsengs using a relatively small amount of ginseng samples. CONSTITUTION: The one-step analysis kit for the distinction of Korean ginseng from foreign ginsengs is prepared by extracting gDNA from Korean ginseng and foreign ginsengs, PCR amplifying ITS region of them, sequencing the PCR amplification products, comparing the nucleotide sequences of the PCR amplification products to find out SNP(single nucleotide polymorphism) portions of them, preparing SNP primers, and mixing SNP primers with both nucleotide directions with components required for gene amplification and freeze-drying them, wherein the components required for gene amplification is dNTPs(dATP, dCTP, dGTP, dTTP), MgCl2 and Taq polymerase.
