PURPOSE: An organic light emitting diode display is provided to achieve improved substrate penetrating luminance and performance by using a metal anode. CONSTITUTION: An organic light emitting diode display comprises a transparent substrate(101); an anode layer(108) which is reflective, weakly absorbent, and conductive, and includes a metal, metal alloy or both formed on the transparent substrate; a hole injection layer(103) formed on the anode layer which is reflective, weakly absorbent, and conductive; a plurality of organic layers formed on the hole injection layer, and which includes an emission layer having an electroluminescence material and an electron transport layer(106) disposed on the emission layer; and a cathode(107) which is reflective and conductive, and includes a metal, metal alloy or both formed on the electron transport layer. The transparency and reflectivity of an anode structure, reflectivity of a cathode structure, and the thickness of the organic layer between electrodes are selected to obtain improved substrate penetrating luminance superior than the optimized device which does not have the reflective, weakly absorbing, and conductive anode.
