PURPOSE: A remote monitoring device of a metering system and a remote monitoring method thereof are provided to measure remotely weight of a vehicle by using a load cell. CONSTITUTION: A remote monitoring device of a metering system includes a plurality of load cells, a control decision unit, a client computer, an indicator, a server computer, and a database. The load cells(100) are used for measuring weight of a vehicle including goods. The control decision unit(400) receives the measured values of the load cells through a junction box(300). The client computer(500) includes a remote monitoring software and controls the remote monitoring device. The indicator(200) is used for indicating the measured values and the predetermined data according to a control operation of the client computer. The server computer(700) receives the measured data and the predetermined data from the client computer. The database(800) stores the measured data and the predetermined data.
