PURPOSE: Provided is a carbon fiber reinforced composite material which uses a surface-treated carbon fiber, and involves excellent mechanical properties. The composite material is effectively used as an advanced material. CONSTITUTION: A method of manufacturing the carbon fiber reinforced composite material comprises the steps of: surface-treating carbon fiber with ozone for 0.5-200 minutes; and dipping the surface-treated carbon fiber in a high molecular resin solution. The concentration of ozone is 1-20 mg/liter. The carbon fiber is uni-directed, and the high molecular resin is a thermosetting resin.
