PURPOSE: A device and a method for fixing a droplet ejection head and a device for assembling a head unit are provided to stable assemble plural droplet ejection heads to a single carriage. CONSTITUTION: A device for fixing a droplet ejection head includes a detection unit for detecting a position of a droplet ejection head(3) and a carriage(2), a moving unit for moving the carriage(2), a correction unit for finely moving a head maintenance member(4), a fixing unit for fixing the head maintenance member(4) to the carriage(2) and a control unit. The control unit determines the position of the carriage(2) based on the detection result of the detection unit. In addition, the control unit determines the position of each droplet ejection head(3) with respect to the carriage(2) and fixes the head maintenance member(4) to the carriage(2).
