GENES OF HELICOBACTER PYLORI 51 STRAIN ISOLATED FROM KOREAN PATIENT

PURPOSE: Genes of Helicobacter pylori 51 strain isolated from a Korean patient are provided, which genes are useful for prevention and treatment of diseases associated with stomach such as stomach cancer. CONSTITUTION: The genes of Helicobacter pylori 51 strain isolated from a Korean patient have the nucleotide sequences set forth in SEQ ID NO:1 to SEQ ID NO:9, respectively. The genes having 60% homology to those of SEQ ID NO:1 to SEQ ID NO:9 are provided. The amino acid sequences encoded by the genes of SEQ ID NO:1 to SEQ ID NO:9 have the amino acid sequences set forth in SEQ ID NO: 10 to SEQ ID NO:18. The proteins having 60% homology to those of SEQ ID NO: 10 to SEQ ID NO:18 are provided. A diagnostic reagent for Helicobacter pylori comprises the genes of SEQ ID NO:1 to SEQ ID NO:9 or 60% homologous gene thereof.
