PURPOSE: An AOS (advanced oily water separator) type oily water separation apparatus is provided which is used to remove ally types of oil and oily sludge and economical by enabling treatment facility to be operated without power and chemical treatment agent during the treatment process. CONSTITUTION: The AOS (advanced oily water separator) type oily water separation apparatus comprises an oily pass unit comprising an oily and sludge separation plate formed of TP 601 plate having thickness of 5 mm and formed in a "V" character shape to treat oily and sludge at a constant treatment flow rate; a slit chamber(21) formed of TP 601 plate having thickness of 5 mm or STS 304 plate and punching screen, the slit chamber comprising a movable filter formed of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene and installed in the chamber to selectively adsorb oil component contained suspended solid in oil contained wastewater so that the adsorbed suspended solid is precipitated on the bottom of the chamber, a copper buoyancy positioned at the side of discharge port in rear of the slit chamber to cut off discharge of oil components through the discharge port; an oily water separator(22) comprising a filter operated by gravitation and buoyancy without power during the oily water separation process and formed of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene to precipitate fine suspended solid and float the oil components by buoyancy as oil components adsorbed onto the filter are being enlarged by gravitation; and an automatic valve device comprising automatic oil discharge unit and oil discharge cutoff unit.
