PURPOSE: Provided is an apparatus for treating wastewater capable of improving treating efficiency and reducing an area for installation by having an inflow equipment with a distinct structure between various disposal tanks not to be influenced by the outside while operating the disposal tank. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for treating wastewater having one or a plurality of reaction tanks, removing nitrogen and phosphorous contained in wastewater by repeatedly treating the wastewater in an aerobic state and in an anaerobic state with flowing the wastewater in the reaction tank and discharging the treated wastewater, the apparatus further comprises inflow equipments(3) respectively equipped at the reaction tank, an air supply equipment(5) optionally installed to the reaction tank, an outlet(10) equipped at the final reaction tank(1d), inlets(30) respectively equipped at one side upper part of a portion of the inflow equipment, horizontal outlets(34) respectively connected to the inlet through a downward connection part(32) and formed adjacent to the bottom of the reaction tank. Positions of the inlets of the inflow equipment and the outlet are sequentially lowered. The air supply equipment is connected from an air compressor(50) to a diffuser(52).
