PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for generating a communication pulse are provided to generate a pulse corresponding to a predetermined standard by using a Gaussian function. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for generating a communication pulse includes a pulse generator, a memory, and a controller. The pulse generator(110) is used for a test pulse wave. The test pulse wave is formed with a sine wave and a cosine wave. The memory(140) includes one or more mask information. The controller(130) is used for extracting the mask information, setting up a parameter corresponding to the mask information, transmitting the parameter to the pulse generator, and controlling operations of the pulse generator to generate the pulse corresponding to a mask by using the parameter.
