PURPOSE: A system and a method for managing information using a USB(Universal Serial Bus) token embedded with a security operator and a storage are provided to directly access the data stored in the USB token, which is equipped with an encryption function, a signature function, and an operation function, through a general application program installed to a connected computer. CONSTITUTION: The USB token(200) includes a microprocessor equipped with a USB processing module(210) and a security processing module(220), and a storage(230) storing the data. The computer(100) is electrically connected to the USB token, and is equipped with a token driver(120) and a USB driver(130). The token driver intercepts an instruction of the application program(110) installed to the computer and converts/transmits the instruction to the microprocessor. The token driver receives a processing result from the microprocessor and converts/transmits the processing result to the application program.
