PURPOSE: A method for managing a multi-path data stream of a high-density optical disk is provided to include/record navigation information for continuously reproducing data streams in path selection unit information, thereby selectively reproducing a data stream of one selected path and continuously reproducing the data stream. CONSTITUTION: Navigation information for continuously reproducing data streams linked with path selection unit information is included/recorded in the path selection unit information. The path selection unit information is one of playlists, or play items, or segments linked with each path data stream. The navigation information shows whether next path selection unit information is branched while showing whether the corresponding information is continuously reproduced with a corresponding data stream. A multi-path data stream linked with the path selection unit information recorded/managed in branch structure is recorded in interleaved state.
