MULTI-TITLE MANAGING/REPRODUCING METHOD OF HIGH-DENSITY OPTICAL DISK, CONCERNED WITH EFFECTIVELY MANAGING/REPRODUCING DATA STREAMS HAVING DIFFERENT REPRODUCTION PATHS AS MULTI-TITLE WITHIN ONE TITLE BLOCK

摘要

PURPOSE: A multi-title managing/reproducing method of a high-density optical disk is provided to record/manage entry type information for accessing one optional title representative of a title block among more than two grouped titles, thereby effectively managing/reproducing data streams having different reproduction paths as multi-title within one title block. CONSTITUTION: At least more than two titles from multi-title are grouped into one title block for management. Among the more than two titles grouped within the title block, information for accessing one optional title representative of the title block is recorded/managed. The information is recorded/managed as entry type information within each of title information included/recorded in index table information of the multi-title. The entry type information is recorded as an inherent value if a corresponding title is a representative title within the title block or an independent title regardless of the title block.
