MOBILE PHONE HAVING A RETRACTABLE MICROPHONE, CONCERNED WITH ENHANCING SPEECH QUALITY BY DRAWING OUT A MICROPHONE

PURPOSE: A mobile phone having a retractable microphone is provided to enhance speech quality by drawing out a microphone so as to be positioned near the mount of a user. CONSTITUTION: An upper folder(100) includes an ear piece(110) and an LCD(120) for outputting various symbols, characters or images formed at an inner surface. A lower folder(200) includes a keypad(21) having multiple key buttons for inputting signals formed at an inner surface and a microphone mounting part(220) formed in a concave shape. A microphone(300) can be mounted on or separated from the microphone mounting part(220), and receives a sound and converts it into an electric signal. A withdrawal pipe(310) connected between the microphone(300) and the lower folder(200), includes a cable for transferring a signal related to sound transmission, and has such a length as the microphone(300) can be drawn out of the lower folder(200).
