PURPOSE: A pulsator for a washing machine is provided to prevent the excessive friction and twist of the laundry by idling an auxiliary pulsator combined to the central upper part of a body with an idler in rotating forward and reverse the body by the driving of a motor. CONSTITUTION: A pulsator(50) for a washing machine combined to the bottom side of a washing tub to form water currents by impellers(10A) arranged on the upside of a body(10) in rotating forward and reverse the body to the driving of a motor is composed of a circumferential boss(15) formed by extending the lower part of a pulsator gap(20) joined to the upside of the body by a hanging hook; a cylindrical idler(30) rotatively combined to the outer peripheral surface of the boss; and a cylindrical auxiliary pulsator(40) rotatively combined to the outer peripheral surface of the idler. Circular projections(31) are continuously formed on the outer peripheral surface of the auxiliary pulsator.
