DROPLET DISCHARGING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR RECOVERING DROPLET DISCHARGING FAILURE FOR DETECTING EXACT DISCHARGING FAILURE BY USING ELECTRIC CAPACITANCE COMPONENT OF ACTUATOR

PURPOSE: A droplet discharging apparatus and a method for recovering droplet discharging failure are provided to exactly detect a droplet discharging failure and a cause thereof by using residual vibration pattern of a vibration plate. CONSTITUTION: A droplet discharging apparatus includes a head unit(35) having plural droplet discharging heads, a droplet discharging failure detecting unit(10), and a droplet discharging failure recovering unit(24). The droplet discharging heads discharge liquid in a cavity through a nozzle in the form of droplets by driving an actuator by means of a driving circuit. The droplet discharging failure detecting unit(10) detects a discharging failure of the droplet ejection heads and a cause thereof. The droplet discharging failure recovering unit(24) recovers the discharging failure according to the cause of the discharging failure if the droplet discharging failure detecting unit(10) detects the droplet discharging failure.
