PURPOSE: Provided is a device for generating electrolyzed water which is able to produce weak acidic and alkaline water as well as strong acidic and alkaline water. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises at least one electrolytic tank(10) comprising an ion diaphragm(11) separating electrolytic water, a first chamber(12) having a first polar plate(13) installed to one side of the ion diaphragm and connected to a first discharge line(14) and a second chamber(16) having a second polar plate(17) installed to the other side of the ion diaphragm and connected to a second discharge line(18); a raw water supply line(20) supplying the raw water to the first and second chamber; a power supply(40) applying direct voltage to the first polar plate and the second polar plate; and an electrolyte supply part(30) comprising a housing(31) having an inlet(32) where the raw water is flown and an outlet(33) connected to the raw water supply line and an electrolyte cartridge(35) supplying an electrolyte to the raw water flown in through the inlet, wherein the power supply comprises a sensor(41) sensing an electric current when the electric current value passing through the first and second polar plate is not less than a certain value when the electrolyte is supplied to the raw water, a voltage reversing part(43) receiving the signal generated from the sensor and reversing direct current voltage passing through the first and second polar plate and a control part(45) organically connected to the sensor and the voltage reversing part.
