PURPOSE: Super color development sea-island type composite fiber is characterized by modifying a fiber forming resin(a polyethylene terephthalate resin) with diol type comonomer. The composite fiber is capable of having excellent color development without excessive increase of shrinkage and solving problems to increase of a production cost, deterioration of wash fastness and environment pollution. Suede type fabric using the same has excellent color development. CONSTITUTION: The super color development sea-island type composite fiber is obtained by the steps of: using polyethylene terephthalate having 0.001-0.5denier of single fineness as an island ingredient; using copolymerized alkali dissolvent polyester as a sea ingredient; and containing diol type comonomer(formula I) and/or diol type comonomer(formula II) in the island ingredient. In the formula I and II, R1 and R2 are C1-C3 alkyl groups; and X is C5-C8 aliphatic ring. The composite fiber has at least 10% of color development increase coefficient, under 10% of difference of weight reduction speed and 5-15% of shrinkage at boiling water. The suede type fabric is manufactured with the composite fiber.
