MANAGEMENT METHOD OF A SLIDING WINDOW IN IP SECURITY AND A DEVICE THEREOF, CONCERNED WITH MORE SAFELY RECEIVING AN IP PACKET

PURPOSE: A management method of a sliding window in IP security and a device thereof are provided to previously update a sliding window as much as window size regardless of a serial number of a next received IP packet, when the sliding window is full, thereby more safely receiving the IP packet. CONSTITUTION: A system initializes a sliding window(S510), and reads a serial number by receiving an IP packet(S520). The system decides whether the read serial number is a value within a serial number range stored in the sliding window(S530). If so, the system transmits the received IP packet to a next layer(S540). The system decides whether the sliding window is full(S560). If so, the system updates the sliding window(S570). If the sliding window is not full, the system returns to the step of confirming the received serial number. After updating the sliding window, the system decides whether the IP packet is continuously received(S580). If not, the system completes the procedure.
