PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PDP CAPABLE OF LENGTHENING LIFE SPAN OF PDP

PURPOSE: A plasma display panel and a method for manufacturing the PDP are provided to lengthen the life span of the PDP by suppressing the lowering of lighting efficiency of PDP. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display panel includes two glass substrates(10,20). A plurality of sustain electrodes(21), a dielectric layer(22), and a protection layer(23) are formed on one glass substrate(20). A predetermined metal as a base structure, a plurality of address electrodes(11a), a dielectric layer(11b), and a plurality of ribs(11c) are formed on an address electrode structure(11). The address electrode structure is arranged on the facing surface to the sustain electrodes. Phosphors(15,16,17) are deposited on the groove of the address electrode structure.
