摘要

PURPOSE: A plasma display panel is provided to achieve increased aperture ratio by using a comb-shaped display electrode, and achieve improved discharge efficiency by connecting ends of sustain electrode between discharge cells. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display panel comprises a scan electrode constituted by a stripe type first main electrode(41) for forming a discharge gap in a discharge cell and a first branch electrode(42) branched off and extended from the first main electrode; and a sustain electrode constituted by a stripe type second main electrode(31) which cooperates with the first main electrode so as to form a discharge gap(G) and second branch electrodes(32) branched off and extended from the second main electrode and connected with each other between adjacent discharge cells so as to form a common sustain electrode.
