PURPOSE: A dielectric resonator device, a dielectric filter, a composite dielectric filter, and a communication apparatus are provided to easily support a dielectric core in a cavity through the use of a support plate and prevent degradation of resonance frequency of TM mode. CONSTITUTION: A dielectric resonator device comprises a dielectric core(10) arranged in a cavity(1). The dielectric core is mounted on a support plate(3), and an air layer is interposed between the dielectric core and the inner surface of the cavity. The support plate mounted with the dielectric core is disposed in the cavity. The support plate is wider than the bottom surface of the dielectric core contacting the support plate. The cavity has an inner bottom surface on which four support columns(2) are arranged to support the support plate.
