PURPOSE: A system for measuring a pulmonary function is provided to measure vital capacity or carbon monoxide and alcohol gas of breath stream by oneself, realize remote medical treatment by transmitting result data of the measurement through a mobile communication terminal to a distant place. CONSTITUTION: A system for measuring a pulmonary function is formed of a pneumatometer(30) and a mobile communication terminal(10). The pneumatometer(30) includes a pressure sensor(34) converting a change in a pressure caused by breath stream flowed into a mouthpiece into a voltage value, a gas measurement control unit(36) converting the voltage value into vital capacity measurement data, and a communication interface(38) interfacing the vital capacity measurement data to the mobile communication terminal(10). The mobile communication terminal(10) includes a data communication unit(18) transmitting and receiving data, an external interface(11) communicating data with the communication interface(38), and a control unit(12). The control unit(12) outputs gas measurement guide information through a display unit(16), requests gas measurement to the pneumatometer(30), and receives the measured vital capacity data to display the vital capacity data on the display unit(16).
