PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for inspecting electronic components using a vision system are provided to prevent damage of a glass plate due to an alignment unit by aligning accurately electronic components. CONSTITUTION: A feeder(110) is used for transferring electronic components supplied from a hopper by using a vibration operation. A linear feeder(112) has the predetermined length in order to transfer sequentially the electronic components. A rotation unit(120) includes a glass plate in order to inspect easily the electronic components supplied from the linear feeder. An alignment unit(130) includes a guide path in order to guide the electronic components to an inspection track. A photographing unit(140) photographs each side of the electronic components.
