DRINKING WATER FED TO PET ANIMALS CONTAINING GLUCOSAMINE OLIGOSACCHARIDE AS MAIN COMPONENT TO IMPROVE THE HEALTH OF PET ANIMALS

PURPOSE: Drinking water fed to pet animals containing glucosamine oligosaccharide, mixed nutrients, red ginseng extract, dropwort extract or the like is provided. It contains rich nutrients and is effective in improving the health of pet animals. CONSTITUTION: The drinking water fed to pet animals comprises 0.002% by weight of glucosamine oligosaccharide, 0.001% by weight of mixed nutrients containing mineral, magnesium, calcium and potassium, 99.997% by weight of purified water and additionally 0.01% by weight of red ginseng extract and 0.01% by weight of dropwort extract. The glucosamine oligosaccharide is prepared by heating low molecular chitosan to remove remaining sodium hydroxide, dissolving the chitosan in a solvent containing glacial acetic acid and lactic acid in a ratio(w/w) of 9:1, mixing the chitosan with enzyme containing cellulose and cellobiose in a ratio(w/w) of 9:1 and heating the mixture at 100deg.C for 20 to 30min.
