WIND PRESSURE REDUCTION DEVICE FOR MEMBRANE ROOF WITH VARIOUS SHAPED AND SIZED HOLES AND MEMBRANE ROOF

PURPOSE: A wind pressure reduction device for a membrane roof is provided to prevent the damage of a roof membrane by decreasing the speed of wind and the pressure added on a roof. CONSTITUTION: The wind pressure reduction device is installed longitudinally on the front of a membrane roof, wherein the membrane roof contains a truss, many masts installed on the truss and a roof membrane covering on the masts and fixed to the mast or the truss strongly. Various shaped and sized holes(42) are arranged irregularly on a plate member(40) to reduce the speed of wind by decreasing the kinetic energy of an air current by causing eddies around the holes(42) and to reduce the pressure added on the roof membrane.
