PURPOSE: A structure of a stopper for fixing the opening of a front cover of a wall mounted type air conditioner is provided to stably fix the opening state of the front cover regardless of the tare of the front cover when fixing the cover as opened upward. CONSTITUTION: A structure of a stopper for fixing the opening of a front cover of a wall mounted type air conditioner includes an indent part(51) formed either a cabinet or the front cover(20) to be indented by a predetermined depth. A rotation supporting plate(52) is hinge-coupled at a side of the indent part to rotate traversely for a plane surface of the indent part with respect to a hinge as an axis, for supporting rotated and opened state of the front cover.
